Head of Workplace Operations

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Workplace Operations to lead our facilities management efforts in EMEA & APAC. As a key member of our Global Facilities and Real Estate team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless, efficient, and aligned workplace and facilities operations that reflect our dynamic and innovative culture.

Our portfolio includes award-winning franchises, and we are powered by a world-class team and technology platform. With operations across multiple locations, we are a beacon of innovation and growth in the mobile gaming industry.

The successful candidate will report directly to the VP of Global People Solutions, interfacing closely with local leaders across EMEA & APAC to harmonize facilities management with our corporate ethos and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily operations of our hybrid work model, including building space allocation, usage analytics, forecasting, layout, and decor to optimize the workspace.
  2. Ensure prompt response to all facilities requests, issues, and complaints, overseeing the optimization of ticketing systems for issue resolution.
  3. Select, manage, and develop relationships with workplace services contractors and vendors to provide essential services such as lunch catering, snacks, and beverage machines.
  4. Manage parking and commuter programs to ensure optimal utilization and adherence, alongside policies such as pet-friendly workplace initiatives.
  5. Oversee day porters and cleaning crews to maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained workplace.
  6. Act as a liaison between building management and our organization, ensuring building maintenance and repairs are completed promptly.
  7. Manage building access, surveillance, alarms, and security personnel to ensure the safety and security of our workplace.
  8. Implement physical security standards, policies, procedures, and conduct training to protect our people, assets, and reputation.
  9. Be responsible for creating purchase orders, forecasting costs, and tracking expenses against the site-specific operating budget.
  10. Project manage cross-functionally with IT, Information Security, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to workplace and facilities management.
  11. Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing team of Facilities Specialists and Coordinators across the EMEA & APAC regions.
Requirements:
  1. 8-10+ years of experience in an operations leadership role, preferably facilities, building operations, and real estate project management.
  2. Experience with a global, private company with 1,000+ employees or larger preferred.
  3. Proven success with project execution, budget and cost savings, and other implementations.
  4. Experienced people manager of three or more team members.
  5. Strong ability to build relationships and partner with department heads, managers, and staff across the organization.
  6. Great attention to detail and the ability to work confidentially and instill confidence in those you are working with.
  7. Flexible, self-motivated; able to deal calmly and professionally with ambiguous data while leading in an environment of constant change.
  8. Demonstrated success in managing operations across diverse geographic regions, particularly in EMEA & APAC.
  9. Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and fostering relationships with key stakeholders across various cultures and business practices.
  10. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  11. A commitment to fostering innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in workplace and facilities management.
  12. Exceptional communication skills, fluent in English, with additional language skills relevant to the EMEA & APAC regions considered a plus.
  13. Adaptability and flexibility, with a willingness to work outside standard hours as needed to support global operations.
