About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Anti-Financial Crime Investigator to join our AFC Operations Department at N26. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies related to Anti-Financial Crime.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate Financial Crime alerts and cases of suspicious activities identified.
- Enhance our analysis and expand processes in our procedures and rulebook, identifying improvements related to internal transaction monitoring systems.
- Draft Suspicious Activity Reports to relevant authorities, prior to escalation to Senior Investigator/Associate (L2).
- Prepare and submit documentation to authorities in their relevant channels/tools of reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant banking experience in Anti-Financial Crime (money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, tax evasion).
- Experience with Spanish AML/CTF regulation and handling reporting (e.g., SARs, FTF) to SEPBLAC.
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in law, business, or finance) is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Office (G Suite) skills for Excel and Word. Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of European and Spanish regulations on Financial Crime (AML, terrorism financing, fraud, and tax evasion).
- Fluency in English and Spanish languages.
- Ability to deliver with quality and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain an analytical mindset, willingness to think outside the box, and appetite for learning.
