Electrical Design Engineer For Power Transformers

Role Overview
This role will be based in Cordoba, where we have a factory focused on core and shell type transformers. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will learn what our customers want and how a Shell Power Transformer should be designed and manufactured to meet their requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
• Work together with other functions like Sales, Project Management, Procurement, Operations, etc., to successfully execute assigned projects.
• Meet and interact with customers, providing technical support to the sales department during the negotiation phase or conducting design reviews after the order is acquired.
• Use advanced simulation tools to solve various types of technical challenges, spanning over different branches of physics (e.g., dielectric, magnetic, thermal, and mechanical design).
• Be responsible for Transformer design and cost, preparing several Engineering documents, like technical specifications and reports based on established formats and instructions.
• Participate in the resolution of technical problems and learn how to systematically apply the most appropriate methods to overcome them.
• Propose improvements to our products, processes, and tools.
Your Background:
• Master's degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or engineering physics. Electrical knowledge is required.
• Around 2 years of professional experience working with transformers is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Strong Team player.
• Spanish and English fluent or mother tongue.
• Sole responsibility for technical solutions, independence, resolution, open mindset, and flair for innovation and business.
• Strong PC knowledge and capability in 3D modelling package is a plus.
