Power Transformer Mechanical Design Specialist

As a Mechanical Design Engineer for Power Transformers, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components for power transformers.
Key Responsibilities:- Design different components to be installed on power transformers based on customer specifications and international and local standards.
- Work closely with the end customer, sales, project management, and electrical design department to develop optimal technical solutions based on quality and cost optimization.
- Perform calculations on the different parts of the transformers based on static forces, dynamic forces, electromagnetic behavior of the materials, temperatures, and environmental conditions.
- Assist our workshop during the manufacturing process as part of the daily work.
- Participate in tender and quotation processes and conduct design reviews with the end customer, providing technical support to our sales and Project Management department.
- Prepare specifications, technical reports, and related documents in accordance with requirements, established formats, and general instructions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering with a major in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience working with designs and CAD models.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
