Job Description:

The successful candidate will be part of the ISR Mission Systems Architectures team, responsible for leading Systems Engineering activities in the Mission Systems field. The role involves delivering safe, reliable, mature, and cost-effective solutions for customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing customer requirements and transforming them into design solutions, architectures, and concepts of operations.
  • Assessing innovative technologies and architectures to deliver independent cost-benefit analysis.
  • Specifying, integrating, qualifying, certifying, and ensuring the continued airworthiness of Mission Systems used for various missions.
  • Integrating specific mission sensors, equipment, and systems necessary for the Mission System to perform its intended missions.
  • Providing Systems Engineering support for the full lifecycle of the Mission System, from development to in-service support.

The ideal candidate will have a Systems Engineering background, experience with V&V process, requirements management tools, and functional analysis. Additionally, they should have knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, networks, computing, software, and cybersecurity. General Mission Systems/Avionics knowledge, including displays, controls, computers, sensors, data buses/protocols, and airworthiness and certification process knowledge are also essential.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in international environments and interact with diverse people and profiles. Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written) is required. The successful candidate will be committed to acting with integrity and awareness of potential compliance risks.
