Job Title: Regulatory Research Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Research Associate to join our team at Datamaran, a fast-paced and innovative technology company. As a key member of our Regulatory team, you will play a critical role in supporting our critical functions, including regulatory research, analysis, and data entry.

About the Role

As a Regulatory Research Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting regulatory research and analysis on national and international regulations, EU Directives, reporting frameworks, guidelines, and industry initiatives related to ESG.
  • Leading on USA-related research projects, assessing the need for further expansion of policy sources and policy-makers currently tracked.
  • Providing support to colleagues on USA-related legal developments, including answering generic questions from coworkers or clients.

You will have the opportunity to work with our international network of talented professionals, learn about the synergies between law, ESG risk analysis, materiality analysis, and the use of technology, and drive your own growth and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Research and data analysis skills.
  • Understanding of hard laws and soft norms.
  • Familiarity with legal databases and diverse legal systems.
  • Legal analysis and legal research techniques.
  • Advanced English writing skills.
  • Team player with strong communications skills.
  • Attention to detail and an innovative and flexible mindset.
