About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Art Director to join our team at Tropicfeel, S.L. as a key member of our Creative Department. As a leader in the travel gear industry, we prioritize quality over quantity and create products that are informed by the needs and desires of our community of modern-day travelers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate the artistic vision and visual identity of Tropicfeel, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
  • Conceptualize and execute innovative and visually appealing marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Design and oversee the production of various assets, including website design, social media graphics, print materials, and packaging.
  • Lead art direction and visual identity of in-house and externalized content shootings, including product art, styling, casting, scouting, and more.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in design software and tools and train team members accordingly.
  • Maintain and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in design elements, color schemes, typography, and imagery.
  • Conduct regular audits of visual assets and marketing materials to identify and address inconsistencies or issues.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers and artists, fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in an Art direction background.
  • Strong affinity with the outdoor and travel gear industry.
  • Advanced in English and Spanish, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in leading teams.
  • Be a person with critical thinking and a proactive attitude.
  • A goal-oriented person with an understanding of digital channels and business mechanics.
  • Advanced level in Adobe suite software.
