About the Role

Vonage is a leading provider of cloud communications platforms, serving customers such as Airbnb, Viber, and Snapchat. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Compliance Manager to join our Product Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance roadmap, working closely with Carrier, Security, Legal, and Product Managers to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Own and deliver key regulatory changes, such as Stir/Shaken and 10DLC, and backend systems like KYC, in collaboration with Product Managers.
  • Design and manage processes to manage regulatory requests across the business, coordinating with Product Managers and stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying solutions to address regulatory, compliance, or privacy requirements, and design control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and experience in regulations, KYC, and Data Sovereignty, Cloud Security.
  • Previous experience working with engineers to identify and implement regulatory and compliance fixes and solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in data protection and compliance, security-oriented cloud services, fraud vector analytics, and threat detection and prevention.
  • Proven experience working as a business subject matter expert or in a technical capacity within compliance & regulations.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a relevant sector and function, and 5+ years of Product or Operational Management experience.
  • Experience in working for or with regulators either directly or via industry bodies, telcos, or cloud industries.
Desirable Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to 'see' the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • Certified compliance professional is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies & tools (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and project management tools.
  • Experience of working with API-based services.
  • Able to work with data in formats such as CSV, XML, JSON, etc.
