Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef Assistant to join our team at Club Med. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for leading the production of innovative and flavorful cuisine that exceeds our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production plans to ensure seamless execution of menu items
  • Lead a team of pastry chefs to achieve high-quality standards and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including HACCP and hygiene protocols
  • Manage inventory and supplies to maintain optimal levels
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize departmental budgets
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Contribute to the development of new menu items and culinary concepts

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols
  • Ability to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives
