Amazon is seeking an experienced HR Regional Partner to join our team in France. As an HR Regional Partner, you will act as a consultant to people managers, operating autonomously and delivering high-judgment advice to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
About the Role
Our HR Regional Partners have strong knowledge of their country's employment labor law, are skilled in consulting on Amazon policy, and build trust by providing high-judgment guidance on people-related topics. They work as generalists across several of our Corporate businesses, partnering with people leaders to provide quick, efficient, high-quality consultation and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Works council management and complex employee issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Performance improvement processes, both informal and formal.
- Guiding leaders through talent management and annual compensation planning processes.
- Providing guidance to HR business partners and business leaders on change management initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Significant Human Resources experience.
- Strong HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of French employment law, including works council management.
- Fluent in both spoken and written French.
- Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of accomplishments in an international environment, which is fast-paced and customer-driven.
- Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and make the best use of available resources.
- Project management and the ability to deliver, with a proven track record of influencing through data-driven recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, coaching, and consulting skills.
