Job Requirements
To excel in this Postdoctoral Researcher position, you should possess a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or related disciplines. Your expertise in ARPES techniques and experience with synchrotron radiation sources are essential for success.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop the LOREA instrument, ensuring its optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Design and execute your own research program, leveraging the beamline's capabilities and contributing to its scientific objectives.
- Maintain and upgrade the beamline, guaranteeing its availability and performance for users.
- Engage with our research community, participating in national and European projects, and collaborating with international partners.
- Contribute to the development of the ARPES program within ALBA II, enhancing our expertise in this area.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of €45,000 - €60,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. A temporary contract (3+3 years) provides opportunities for career advancement and personal growth.
