About the Role

The Boston Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our Data & Researcher Services team. As a Research Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our consulting teams with high-quality research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on various topics, including due diligence and private equity transactions
  • Develop and maintain expertise in specialized research tools, databases, and sources
  • Collaborate with consulting teams to understand client needs and deliver accurate, timely, and relevant data and information
  • Coach and mentor junior research associates and outsourcing partners
  • Develop and maintain knowledge capture and documentation tools and resources

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of relevant working or research experience in a due diligence or private equity transaction context
  • Experience researching and analyzing financial statements, M&A, or investments/divestments
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or sciences
  • Excellent research analysis skills and strong attention to detail
  • Effective critical thinking and solution-oriented mindset to solve customer research/analysis problems
  • Creative thinking and ability to propose innovative research strategies
  • Excellent English language skills; fluency in Spanish and German is beneficial
