Job Overview

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Associate to join our team in Barcelona. As a Clinical Research Associate, you will play a critical role in the success of our clinical trials, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and coordinate all aspects of the clinical monitoring process, including site initiation, monitoring visits, and close-out activities.
  • Conduct monitoring activities independently, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP, EU, and FDA regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with site personnel, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless trial execution.
  • Collaborate with the clinical operations team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective trial delivery.

Requirements

  • University degree in a life-sciences field.
  • Minimum 12 months independent, on-site monitoring experience in a Pharmaceutical or Clinical Research Organisation as a Clinical Research Associate.
  • Solid understanding of ICH-GCP, EU, and FDA requirements.
  • Demonstrated understanding of medical/therapeutic area knowledge and medical terminology.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English languages is essential.
