The Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Director to lead our research efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment for top research in life sciences and defining the overall scientific and technological vision for the institute.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership for the research programmes of the CRG and ensure the excellence of all CRG activities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive the institute's research agenda and achieve its goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, academic institutions, and government agencies
- Oversee the management of resources, including budgeting, personnel, and facilities
