Postdoctoral Researcher in Methodology for Synchrotron Light Source

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our Methodology group at the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST). The successful candidate will develop methodologies based on data analytics to address user and staff needs, working in synergy with the Scientific Data Management Section, beamline scientists, and other members of the Experiments division.
About the ProjectThe Methodology group at ALBA addresses the needs of new scientific methodologies, algorithms, and corresponding software for visualizing and analyzing large data sets created at ALBA. The successful candidate will collaborate with several partner institutions in the frame of the InCAEM subproject of the 'Planes Complementarios con Comunidades Autónomas' of the 'Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia', of which the CELLS consortium is the executing entity.
About the RequirementsThe candidate should hold a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or Physics. The successful candidate will report to the Methodology Group head and will be part of a multidisciplinary work environment with an atmosphere formed by lived diversity, inclusion, and respect for our colleagues.
