**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for the accurate testing of software used by insurance market professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform manual testing in complex areas across the application
  • Own small-to-medium features with guidance from test case design through implementation to completion
  • Design moderately complex test cases
  • Conduct exploratory testing to find defects
  • Provide accurate estimates for yourself and others
  • Identify solutions to issues blocking testing with minimal assistance
  • Review test cases executed by less experienced testers
  • Review User Stories and testable requirements, providing feedback
  • Log and track defects in your area
  • Proactively engage with analysts to gain business knowledge

**Requirements**

  • Demonstrable experience in similar roles
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude to face complex business scenarios
  • High attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of insurance business processes
  • Ability to express complex bugs, situations, or problems in a concise and precise manner
  • Knowledgeable in SQL scripting, SQL server, and data model
  • Creativity when dealing with new and illogical situations
  • Learns from experience when looking for potential problems and solutions
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and avoiding getting caught up in unimportant details
