About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic software DevOps team at Ericsson.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, extensive experience in end-to-end testing, and a solid foundation in software development. The candidate should be passionate about delivering high-quality software products and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to comprehensive E2E test strategies for complex software systems and customer requirements.
  • Develop E2E automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, develop, and enrich test plans.
  • Maximize the level of automation for all testing steps (unit, system, UI, E2E, performance, user acceptance).
  • Execute and analyze test results, identify defects, and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software testing and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in end-to-end testing with a focus on software development.
  • Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
  • Proficiency in Python programming languages. Any other will be a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot framework, pytest, jest, and JMeter).
  • Previous experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a must.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to join the office on an average of 2 times/week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing and security testing.
  • Strong development background (BE and/or FE).
  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, ASTQB).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
