As a Market Development Engineer for IP&E Technologies at Arrow Electronics, you will play a key role in driving market growth and sales expansion within the IP&E business segment. Your expertise in electronics industry and manufacturing, combined with your experience in engineering and business strategy, will be essential in developing and executing comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market and profit growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for assigned market/business segments.
- Conduct business strategy activities, including market analysis, competitive analysis, and product positioning.
- Collaborate with product management and supplier resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
- Create and execute comprehensive product and service offers.
- Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for business development.
- Evaluate and recommend supplier and channel programs within assigned markets.
- Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
- Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers.
Requirements:
- Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product management.
- Experience in IP&E.
- Experience in engineering and business strategy – market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis).
- Strong sales skills.
- Full driving license and readiness for business travel.
- English language skills – fluently in writing and spoken.
- Spanish language skills (native or C1).
- Expertise in engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
