Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Services Specialist to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions. As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical services and consultancy to industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical services and support to clients within a designated region, with occasional travel within and outside the country.
  • Coordinate all activities with the service manager.
  • Conduct water sampling and chemical analyses using portable laboratory equipment.
  • Collect, package, and send water samples to specialized laboratories.
  • Prepare detailed service reports outlining actions taken and/or recommended at the client site.
  • Serve as a liaison between the client and the sales and technical departments.
  • Make recommendations for procedural improvements to enhance overall business efficiency.
  • Travel to and remain at assigned locations until all tasks are complete.
  • Manage all aspects of workplace safety.
  • Complete all assigned training activities promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar field.
  • Knowledge and experience in industrial water treatment (preferred, not required).
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with monitoring and dosing equipment (preferred, not required).
  • Ability to work toward goals and in a team environment.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Willingness to travel constantly within the assigned area.
  • Permission to work in the European Union.
  • Valid driver's license in the European Union.
