About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building brand new software products and features from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, distributed systems and performant front-end clients using modern full-stack technologies, programming languages, and systems.
  • Work with state-of-the-art technologies such as AWS and React to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to invent, design, and build software that is stable and performant.
  • Contribute to the development of software that is easy to maintain, understand, and extend.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, team planning, and ticket/metric/COE reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Take on projects and make software enhancements that improve team software and processes.
  • Train new team members on how the team's software is constructed, how it operates, how secure it is, and how it fits into the bigger picture.
  • Help recruit and interview for the team, and mentor and help others.

Requirements
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Experience (non-internship) in professional software development.
