Continuous Improvement Director

About the Role
This position will play a critical role in supporting the transformation of Galderma into a mature continuous improvement organization. The successful candidate will lead and support complex global projects and activities across sites and regions, ensuring value is defined across the end-to-end value stream.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, development, and implementation of global lean supply and manufacturing programs.
- Knowledge of complex process mapping across end-to-end supply chains.
- Promote knowledge management, best practice sharing, and adoption across teams globally.
- Support key stakeholders to assess the flow of value from suppliers to customers and identify targeted improvement opportunities.
- Lead improvement initiatives, working with stakeholders to shape, manage, implement, and sustain improvements.
- Promote the use of Lean Six Sigma and other relevant improvement methodologies, techniques, and principles.
- Promote the valuation of benefits through favorable KPI movement and understanding of related financial impacts.
- Support an active learning environment to enhance capabilities and ways of working.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience using improvement methods, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and Shingo.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
- Strong influencing, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.
- Demonstrated teaching and coaching skills.
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or engineering environments within a large global organization.
- Pharmaceutical, automotive, or cost-oriented company experience is an advantage.
