About the Role:
The Continuous Improvement Lead will play a key role in supporting the implementation of Lean Excellence in IAG GBS. This involves working closely with the team of continuous improvement experts to ensure that Lean Excellence is embedded in the culture and DNA of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team of continuous improvement experts in implementing Lean Excellence initiatives
- Work with management team members and other finance stakeholders to define process improvement priorities
- Oversee improvement initiatives to improve performance key metrics, generate savings, and add business value
- Identify improvement needs and take the initiative while ensuring the usage of correct continuous improvement standards
- Support the determination of knowledge and competence gaps and deliver training either directly or via internal or external experts
- Lead complex regional process improvement projects and initiatives
- Create a strong continuous improvement culture within IAG GBS
- Manage and coach staff to complete continuous improvement projects and initiatives
- Maintain consistent lean behaviors and coach project team members on lean behaviors
- Communicate the lean vision to all stakeholders
- Ensure initiation of Value Stream Maps and manage improvements and maintenance
- Capture, document, and share best practice, transferring knowledge across deployment sites
- Support and monitor the Lean maturity progression and exit of the LMM phases
- Maintain a self-learning organization with room for development of people
- Ensure sufficient focus on innovation and automation in this digital era
- Train and coach IAG GBS in daily management and problem-solving, understanding root causes of issues, implementing countermeasures, and embedding the new way of working
Requirements:
- Minimum a Master's degree and 5-7 years of working experience, with 5+ years of related experience
- A background in a multi-site, multinational setting with a focus on Lean implementation, directing, and tracking multiple projects at varying stages on different sites
- Pro-active attitude with analytical and very good communicative capabilities
- Change management skills are of the utmost importance
- Proficient level of English language is essential
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt
- Experience with managing continuous improvement and usage of Lean tools
- Experience in shared services or supply chain
- Experience with various problem-solving tools
- Experience with team management and demonstrated project management skills
- Prior experience of financial processes and controls is preferred
- Experience in facilitating workshops and coaching/mentoring activities
- Able to work at every level of the organization, from people on the work floor to senior managers
- Ability to influence and motivate large diverse teams to embrace and deliver sustained operational improvement
- A strong passion for Lean
- Passion and sense of urgency for executing performance improvement projects
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Change agent (mindset and capabilities)
- Team player, motivator, and highly energetic, able to energize and motivate others
- Good analytical skills
- Delivering on commitment
- Advanced coaching and teaching skills; ability to coach and motivate Lean Champions and Subject Matter experts in IAG GBS
