The Global Category Manager creates, implements, and owns strategic relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, aiming to achieve objectives of indirect categories. Responsibilities include:
- Developing global strategies for major indirect categories in alignment with stakeholders
- Deploying and managing strategy implementation across teams
- BUILDING STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY SUPPLIERS TO ACHIEVE OPTIMAL COST AND PERFORMANCE
- LEADING PERFORMANCES OF GLOBAL/KEY SUPPLIERS, INCLUDING SUSTAINABILITY & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
- IDENTIFYING AND IMPLEMENTING SAVINGS INITIATIVES AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PLANS
This role requires a minimum 3 years of professional experience in strategic indirect procurement and strong knowledge in category management, contract management, and risk management. Experience in supplier relationship management, TCO analysis, and cost reduction is essential. Excellent communication skills in English are required, with German, Spanish, or Mandarin being beneficial. Familiarity with SAP and S2P platforms (ARIBA, COUPA) is preferred.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include 25 days annual leave, 5 days leave for waiver of time tracking, Employee Assistance Program, and Long service awards.
