At BASF Digital Hub Madrid, we are shaping the future of data management and innovation. As a Data Excellence Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing and advancing our data semantics capabilities.

**Responsibilities:**

* Contribute to the development of the Data Excellence architecture, including improvements on the Ontology Management Framework and Knowledge Graph Solution Stack.

* Ensure seamless integration of Data Excellence components, collaborating closely with the Product Owner and Solutions Architect.

* Automate processes and workflows to streamline operations and synchronize data with connected systems.

* Collaborate with the product team to gauge demand, devise new features, and implement solutions that facilitate dynamic data interactions.

* Translate functional and non-functional requirements into a cost-effective and efficient system architecture.

* Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

* Design and implement solutions, ensuring high quality through adherence to best practices and comprehensive testing.

* Develop and integrate advanced machine learning and AI models for enhanced information extraction, retrieval, and graph analytics.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

* Senior experience in software engineering, data science, or AI engineering.

* Strong programming expertise, preferably in Python; additional languages are a plus.

* Experience with data management and storage technologies, preferably including NoSQL and graph databases.

* Solid background in agile project management, with experience leading projects to successful completion.

* Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
