IT Infrastructure Service Manager

Reconocida Empresa is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our global IT infrastructure service providers and working closely with our internal IT Regional Managers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage IT Operations and Services: Oversee the management of IT operations and services, including infrastructure, to ensure seamless delivery of services to our customers.
- Run and Maintain Shared IT Services: Responsible for the day-to-day management of shared IT services, data centers, and cloud providers.
- Lead Infrastructure Modernization: Drive the modernization of our infrastructure, including hybrid multicloud, edge computing, containerization, and automated, programmable infrastructure.
- Ensure System Availability: Actively monitor and respond to incidents that may affect highly available and performant systems.
- Manage Technology Vendors: Manage relationships with technology vendors for infrastructure and hardware procurement.
- Design and Execute Strategic Plans: Develop and execute short and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets current and future needs.
- Conduct Research and Recommend Changes: Conduct research and recommend changes in services, products, protocols, and standards to support development efforts and infrastructure procurement.
- Supervise Data Center and Cloud Services: Lead, direct, and utilize knowledge on best practices in areas related to infrastructure.
- Define IT Disaster Recovery Strategy: Develop and manage IT disaster recovery strategy for the organization.
- Define Software and Hardware Standards: Collaborate with stakeholders and owners to define software and hardware standards.
- Report and Prepare Strategies: Prepare strategies to maintain server infrastructure and control costs, KPIs, and SLAs of service provider contracts.
- Practice IT Asset Management: Ensure IT asset management, including inventory maintenance and associated documentation.
- Assist in Defining Technology Strategy: Assist the CTO in defining the technology strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with the organization's digital business strategy.
- Educational Background: Educated to degree level with at least 5 years of experience developing in the same role in a large private-sector IT organization.
- Cloud Stack Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Azure Cloud stack in the context of enterprise environments. Other Cloud platform knowledge will be highly valuable (AWS, OCI, GCP).
- IT Infrastructure Provider Service Management Experience: Experience managing IT infrastructure provider service management, ideally working with global providers like NTT, HP, IBM, etc.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating with vendors.
- Technical Profile: Very strong technical profile to align our IT strategy within service providers and control running service, improvement, and evolution.
- Communication Skills: Ability to evangelize new developments to both technical and non-technical audiences.
