Senior IT Infrastructure Architect

The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to fill the position of Senior IT Infrastructure Architect. This is a key role within the IT Department, responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the organization's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions to support the organization's business objectives.
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and cloud resources.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's IT systems.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to define and implement IT service management processes.
- Supervise and manage the Systems Administration team to ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.
- Develop and implement IT projects to improve the organization's IT infrastructure and services.
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT budget and resources.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and design.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including cloud computing, virtualization, and network security.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
