Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our existing computing infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing computing infrastructure, leveraging new technologies and practices.
- Implement automation and optimization techniques to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure robust security and compliance with industry regulations, particularly FDA guidelines for medical devices.
- Perform system administration tasks, including server management, network configuration, and security updates.
- Mentor and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Design and Implement Future Infrastructure:
- Evaluate the existing infrastructure to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Design the architecture for the future infrastructure, ensuring robustness, flexibility, and scalability.
- Create a detailed roadmap outlining steps and timelines for transitioning to the new infrastructure.
- Oversee the deployment of the new infrastructure, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to operations.
We are looking for a highly skilled IT professional with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and system administration is required, with a proven track record in designing and managing large-scale, high-performance computing environments.
