About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our People's team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of health and safety specialists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Design and implement work instructions and revise them periodically to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Investigate occupational accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement health surveillance programs to monitor employee health and well-being.
- Coordinate business activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Design and implement emergency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements in other countries or working centers.
- Provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on health and safety matters.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Labor Risk Prevention or a related field.
- Experience managing a team of health and safety specialists.
- Experience working with CAE platforms and investigating accidents.
- Advanced Office/Google Sheets skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Able to work in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment and work with different levels of management.
- Thrives in ambiguity.
- Organized, proactive, and creative.
- Hands-on profile/mindset.
- Availability to move around the country.
- Great communication skills.
