About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Amazon, a leading global company and a member of Mygwork, as a Senior Health and Safety Manager. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements in health and safety standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Health and Safety Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and guidance on health and safety matters to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  2. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
  3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local health and safety legislation and regulations.
  4. Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance health and safety awareness and skills among employees.
  5. Communication: Communicate health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices to all stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
  6. Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators to measure health and safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  3. Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others. Proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
