Position Overview

The Laboratory Asset Site Manager is responsible for overseeing site operations in alignment with contractual obligations and project specifications. This role is pivotal in driving the overall account strategy to meet financial and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure site activities comply with established terms and conditions.
  • Strategic Support: Assist in achieving annual goals related to revenue, growth, and client retention.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients, service providers, and internal teams.
  • Customer Focus: Prioritize customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective service delivery.
  • Business Review Participation: Contribute to quarterly business reviews and attend necessary meetings.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze customer metrics, including financial performance and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement action plans to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines related to asset management.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the Resource Center database.
  • Service Monitoring: Oversee service activities to ensure quality and timeliness.
  • Customer Interaction: Coordinate site service visits with clients and vendors.
  • Field Support: Facilitate smooth transitions for engineers entering the laboratory environment.
  • Financial Review: Assess field service reports and invoices for accuracy.
  • System Updates: Keep the CMMS updated with current asset and service information.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns and service-related issues as they arise.
  • Alternative Solutions: Explore and propose alternative service methods in line with account strategies.
  • High Dollar Repairs: Manage high-value repair processes and monitor progress.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
  • Project Participation: Engage in PPI project teams to enhance business performance.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel to various client locations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English.
  • 1-2 years of experience in relevant industries such as Agriculture, Life Sciences, or Healthcare.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and data management software.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong commitment to tracking and communicating progress.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions
  • Work primarily at customer locations, including office and laboratory environments.
  • May require independent work within customer facilities.

  • Travel by air and automobile for meetings and training may be necessary.
