Director of Cultural Experience

As a Director of Cultural Experience at Marriott International, Inc, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and implementing operational, service, and public relations strategies for our property's restaurants, bars, and night club venues. Your primary objective will be to create an atmosphere that represents and enhances the EDITION brand presence, while driving revenue through innovative marketing and public relations initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase brand visibility.
- Network with high-profile clientele and create non-traditional selling and public relations events that generate high revenues.
- Implement the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales and service process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, Finance, Food and Beverage, Rooms Division, Engineering, and Security to ensure compliance with local regulations and requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service and manage talent to ensure a high-performing team.
- Analyze and report on financial and sales data to inform business decisions.
- High school diploma or GED; 6 years' experience in the related professional area, or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.
- 4 years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area.
- Familiarity with the fashion, arts, culture, entertainment industry and demonstrated ability to make connections with high-profile clientele.
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in the related field and 6 years' experience in bar operations, in a boutique or high-end bar or night club environment.
