About the Job

The Functional Service Manager (FSM) is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery, management, and improvement of IT services to support business operations. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, managing service performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the functional and organizational aspects of SAP Platform Technology Service
  • Support and own all processes to be fulfilled to keep the service updated and valid
  • Maintain the Service Portfolio within the service
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and drive initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency
  • Monitor and report on service performance metrics and KPIs
  • Ensure service compliance with internal and external standards and regulations
  • Support the commercial service manager in the financial planning

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP (including Service Management)
  • In-depth knowledge of IT service management methodologies and best practices
  • Proven experience working with SNOW in Service Management topics
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, defining and delivering value to the Tribe
  • Ability to develop current SAP Basis Technology services to fully leverage new and upcoming technologies (e.g., SAP BTP, SAP Joule)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different business functions, especially in the SAP context
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality services
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Very good English language skills; good German skills as an advantage
  • Broad knowledge of SAP technologies and technology trends
