An exciting opportunity has emerged for a ME Serial Process Engineer within Airbus Defence and Space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the initial installation process while ensuring effective feedback mechanisms from the shop floor.
- Creating and updating routing, Bill of Materials (BoM), and Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) to align with production requirements, time assessments, and work preparation best practices.
- Defining the specifications for industrial assets including jigs, tools, and machinery for both creation and modification.
- Organizing regular feedback sessions with the Production Team.
- Addressing key and recurring work preparation challenges escalated by the Production Team and technical shop floor support.
- Engaging directly with the Production Team through active participation in routine meetings.
- Facilitating continuous improvement on the shop floor by offering work preparation expertise for unresolved issues.
- Assisting in evaluating the industrial impacts of modifications and translating industrial needs to design and supply chain.
- Ensuring effective configuration management support.
- Conducting and supporting Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (P-FMEA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Providing technical expertise to the Design Process Engineering (DPE) as required.
- Maintaining data consistency and effectiveness in supply chain management, including aspects like missing parts and Material Requirement Planning impacts.
REQUIRED SKILLS
