NOC Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled NOC Engineer to join our dynamic team at Take-Two Interactive Software. As a key member of our infrastructure organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Windows Server Administration: Manage and maintain Windows servers to ensure stability, security, and performance.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Utilize CheckMK for comprehensive monitoring and alerting to ensure all systems are functioning optimally.
- Linux System Administration: Diagnose and resolve issues on Linux systems to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Virtualization Management: Manage virtual environments using VMWare to optimize resources and ensure availability.
- vSan Storage Management: Demonstrate a solid understanding of vSan for effective storage management and troubleshooting.
- Cloud Service Administration: Administer and manage cloud services across AWS, Azure, Splunk, and GCP to ensure seamless integration and operation.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess potential risks and impacts on game services and revenue, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Issue Identification and Troubleshooting: Identify issues, alerts, and critical service incidents using provided dashboards and monitoring tools.
- Service Communication: Relay accurate and timely information regarding service impacts to game studios, ensuring effective communication during incidents.
- Incident Management: Handle outages and ensure minimal disruption to services.
- Daily On-Call Duties: Responsible for triaging and troubleshooting critical alerts from critical systems.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Effectively work with multi-functional teams to optimize processes.
- On-Call Experience: Participate in an on-call rota to handle urgent issues outside regular working hours.
- Experience in Live Services: Understanding of live services and their operational requirements.
- Change and Crisis Management: Experience in managing change and crisis situations, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Effective Communication: Able to relay information accurately and timely to the game studio and other stakeholders.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: A commitment to continuous improvement and proactive issue resolution.
- Background and Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role and/or 3 years experience in a relevant role.
