Role Overview:

To enhance our Portfolio Management division, we are seeking a proactive and seasoned

Investment Portfolio Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present investment committee proposals (initial cases and follow-ons) and actively participate in committee discussions.
  • Structure new investments and manage follow-on funding.
  • Coordinate exit strategies for portfolio companies.
  • Review and negotiate investment agreements with co-investors and portfolio companies.
  • Collaborate with investment teams across various locations to evaluate new investment structures and follow-on opportunities.
  • Draft investment committee decision letters.
  • Lead the valuation processes for companies and design portfolio dashboards along with market analyses.

Candidate Profile:

  • A collaborative team player with strong networking and intercultural skills, valuing relationship building.
  • Ability to work autonomously while establishing trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Eagerness to acquire new knowledge in venture capital and investment management.
  • A positive, inquisitive, and open-minded approach.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An MBA or equivalent degree from a prestigious graduate institution.
  • Over 8 years of experience in venture capital, investment management, or banking.
  • Prior experience in early-stage investments, exits, and cleantech is advantageous.
  • Proficient written and spoken English is essential.
  • Capability to interact and coordinate with investment teams across different regions.
  • Experience in multinational environments.
  • A self-driven and results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
