About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at TUI. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying software applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services and cloud design patterns
  • Implement resource-oriented APIs (REST, SOUP, GraphQL) on client and server side
  • Work with data persistence in Oracle/Postgres databases and DynamoDB/MongoDB (SQL/noSQL/PL SQL)
  • Collaborate with the team to own software products from conception to operation
  • Contribute to increasing automation and strive for high-quality software development
  • Research, evaluate, and test new approaches, processes, and tools to improve team efficiency

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript language (ES6/7/8/next, Typescript) or Java and its ecosystem
  • Experience with implementing resource-oriented APIs (REST, SOUP, GraphQL) on client and server side
  • Experience with data persistence in Oracle/Postgres databases and DynamoDB/MongoDB (SQL/noSQL/PL SQL)
  • Expertise in cloud design, infrastructure as code, tools, and services on AWS
  • Knowledge of applying web delivery design principles for websites and web applications
  • Comfortable working in Agile working environment
  • Good experience with CI/CD, preferably Gitlab CI
  • Ability to design, build, test, and deploy applications
  • Fluent in English, with good communication skills for interdisciplinary and international teamwork
