About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at TUI. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying software applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using a range of technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and AWS.
  • Work closely with our Practice teams and Group Enabler teams to research, evaluate, and test new approaches, processes, and tools.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize business and technical problems, and develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences, and use this knowledge to inform our software development decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in software engineering and cloud computing, and apply this knowledge to improve our software applications.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, including ES6/7/8/next and TypeScript.
  • Experience with at least two recent JavaScript frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and general understanding of UI design.
  • Excellent knowledge of applying web delivery design principles for websites and web applications.
  • Deep understanding of front-end performance aspects, analysis, and optimization.
