Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our Development Team in Palma, Spain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of a new application in the tourism industry, utilizing their expertise in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of Java 17+ applications, supporting business objectives while providing expertise in software development lifecycle phases.
  • Develop, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain web applications using full-stack JavaScript.
  • Analyze, design, and build component-based applications in an online XML delivery environment, including modeling techniques, component and object-oriented design, complex algorithmic coding, and systematic approaches to application and system integration.
  • Perform hands-on coding and assist in architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with other development teams in other countries.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java development, including Java 17+.
  • Knowledge of developing web applications with JavaScript.
  • Work experience and references in the tourism industry.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a proven ability to work with others as part of an established development team.
  • Experience with common testing frameworks.
  • A proven ability to work with deadlines.
Desirable Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Additional certifications in core technologies.
  • Proficiency in Gradle, Hexagonal Architecture, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, SonarQube, Swagger, and Kafka.
  • Experience with Enterprise Middleware.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be based in Palma, Spain, and will work on a permanent contract, full-time, in a hybrid work modality.
