Job Title: Bell And Door Attendant

About the Role:

The Bell/Door Attendant is a key member of our front-of-house team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and creating a warm welcome for all arrivals. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm welcome to all arriving guests, including luggage services and lobby assistance.
  • Act as the first/last point of contact for guests, opening/closing car and hotel lobby doors, and bidding farewell.
  • Execute curbside check-in and maintain the door area and lobby to the highest standards.
  • Utilize guest names in all interactions and provide knowledgeable assistance on Pittsburgh attractions, directions, and cultural scene.
  • Assist guests with luggage and secured luggage storage, and maintain relationships with limousine and cab services.
  • Escort guests to their destinations within the hotel and assist the front office team with check-ins/outs as needed.
  • Review daily reports, group resumes, and ensure execution of all special requirements.
  • Act as a lobby ambassador throughout the shift, providing thoughtful touches for our guests.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a luxury property is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute guest requests through strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with great communication ability.

Physical Aspects of the Position:

Constant standing and walking throughout shifts. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
