Job Title: Bell And Door Attendant

About the Role:

The Bell/Door Attendant is a key member of our front-of-house team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and creating a warm welcome for all arrivals. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm welcome to all arriving guests, ensuring a seamless check-in experience.
  • Act as the first/last point of contact for guests, opening/closing car and hotel lobby doors, and bidding farewell.
  • Execute curbside check-in, ensuring guests are efficiently processed and their needs are met.
  • Maintain the lobby area and door entrance, ensuring it is always immaculate and well-maintained.
  • Utilize guest names in all interactions, providing a personalized touch and building rapport.
  • Assist guests with luggage and secured luggage storage, ensuring their belongings are safe and secure.
  • Maintain relationships with limousine and cab services, ensuring seamless transportation for guests.
  • Escort guests to their destinations within the hotel, providing a convenient and hassle-free experience.
  • Assist the front office team with check-ins/outs as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Review daily reports, group resumes, and ensure execution of all special requirements.
  • Act as a lobby ambassador throughout the shift, providing thoughtful touches and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Participate in all colleague briefings and formal communication meetings, staying informed and up-to-date on hotel news and initiatives.
  • Follow all established standards and procedures set out by the hotel and the department, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service, exceeding guest expectations and building loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a luxury property is an asset.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute guest requests through strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with great communication ability.
  • Physical Aspects of Position: Constant standing and walking throughout shifts. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
