Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our dedicated development team. As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in the development of applications in a modern cloud environment, working closely with our product owners and development team.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement technical concepts in modern software systems, leveraging microservice architecture.
  • Deploy and test implementations in all environments, creating documentation of implemented solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technological developments and apply them in daily work.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand, analyze, define, develop, and fulfill quality requirements for planned functionalities.
Requirements
  • Degree or comparable education in computer and information science.
  • Professional experience working in an agile IT environment, preferably in backend development.
  • Professional knowledge and experience in Java 8, Spring Boot 2.X, Spring modules, persistence technology, unit and integration testing, SQL databases, microservice and cloud architectures, and IDE JetBrains IntelliJ.
  • Familiarity with agile DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines to deploy container-based applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile Tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, GIT/Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs with unit and integration testing.
