Objective

The primary goal is to maintain the quality standards of packaging materials and finished goods throughout the material receiving and filling processes.

Educational Background

A 2 or 3-year degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field is required, along with a Secondary Education in Industrial studies.

Required Knowledge

  • Understanding of UNE-ISO 2859 for statistical sampling in attribute inspection.
  • Familiarity with inspection and testing methods for raw and packaging materials.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of packaging material processes.
  • Ability to interpret industrial specifications.
  • Proficiency in quality control tools such as control charts, cause-and-effect diagrams, and risk analysis.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with automated process control tools and Factory 4.0 technologies.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly within the cosmetics or fragrance industry.
  • Awareness of standard practices and procedures in Quality Assurance Systems.
  • Knowledge of cosmetology and olfactory skills is advantageous.

Language Proficiency

Fluency in English is essential, while knowledge of French is considered a plus.

Shift Requirements

Availability to work in a three-shift schedule is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting audits and inspections of packaging materials and finished products.
  • Managing the approval and rejection processes for packaging components and products.
  • Overseeing adherence to quality control plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards among production personnel.
  • Engaging in the management of non-conformities.
  • Participating in the introduction of new references, ensuring that specifications are available for production.
  • Recommending enhancements to processes, products, or materials to elevate operational value within a technologically advanced framework.
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health and safety instructions, and environmental protection regulations.
