Senior Parts Engineering Specialist - Westinghouse Electric Company LLC

Join our dynamic team We are seeking a meticulous Senior Parts Engineering Specialist to enhance our focus on providing components, particularly mechanical equipment, throughout the EMEA region. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting both technical and commercial proposals for the Westinghouse Parts Division, with a strong focus on quality assurance for Non-OEM components. This position offers flexibility through remote or mobile work options within the EMEA area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and implement projects, concentrating on technical and commercial proposals for the EMEA market.
  • Efficiently manage project and supply chain operations.
  • Develop tailored technical proposals that align with client specifications and needs.
  • Accurately interpret customer requirements to ensure alignment with our offerings.
  • Mitigate commercial risks associated with all proposals.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain to coordinate cost and lead time strategies.
  • Work alongside WPB Sales and Product Management teams to refine pricing strategies.
  • Engage in process enhancement initiatives aimed at expediting quote turnaround and other critical projects.
  • Innovate Non-OEM product offerings in the EMEA region to foster business expansion.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in parts and equipment supply.
  • At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • A degree in mechanical engineering or materials science.
  • Strong engineering acumen, change management skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven with a collaborative and inquisitive approach.
  • Comprehensive understanding of organizational processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in technical applications and the Microsoft D365 product suite.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders across the EMEA region.
  • Aptitude for engaging with senior-level communications.
