Payroll Specialist

About the Role:
The objective of this position is to contribute to the team responsible for the support and execution of payroll activities and/or data management/customer services activities, ensuring that output is accurate and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Support Managers: Ensure all information is accurate and provided on time.
- Payroll Support: Provide daily functional support to the teams, to support the successful delivery of payrolls and own the end-to-end payroll process with necessary sign-offs.
- Client Solution Maintenance: Responsible for the maintenance of the Client Solution workbook.
- Process Documentation: Responsible for the updating, maintaining and enforcing of the Defined Work Instructions (DWIs) and other process documentation.
- System Maintenance: Ensure and Sign Off System Maintenance Testing.
- Statement of Works: Support the review of the Statement of Works before it's shared with the Client to ensure its fit for purpose.
- HR Administrative Processes: Responsible for the optimization of HR administrative processes driving efficiency and automation.
- Customer Process Leads: Liaise with customer process leads regarding process gaps, client issues, and escalation handling maximizing client satisfaction.
- Technical Issues: Responsible for the resolution of technical issues escalated from the team and ensuring all system issues/defects are reported correctly and tickets are logged with the necessary details and evidences so Application Services and/or Products can investigate.
- Functional Issues: Responsible for the resolution of functional issues escalated from the team and ensuring all processes are reported correctly and logged with the necessary details and evidences to redefine and enhance processes with the customer.
- Automation and Innovation: Working with Operational Management, Transformation and Products to implement automation, innovation and any continuous improvement programmes.
- Legislation Roadmap: Responsible for the management of the legislation roadmap and ensuring the team are upskilled in upcoming changes and processes are updated where needed.
- Year End Support: Support Year End.
- Confidentiality: Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.
- Upsell Opportunities: Proactively identify upsell opportunities.
- Client Escalations: Support Management with the resolution of client escalations, along with lessons learnt.
- Team Development: Upskill and develop team members through training delivery and coaching to enable them to fulfil their role.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build good relationships with internal stakeholders and keep them up to date when needed.

- Relevant Experience: Relevant experience administering Payroll in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment.
- Payroll Knowledge: Knowledge on payroll processes, practices and associated legislation.
