Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kidz Kare. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality care and education to young children, and will be committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage a team of educators in the implementation of our curriculum and programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and families to ensure open communication and collaboration
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Kidz Kare policies and procedures
  • Plan and implement engaging and informative programs that promote learning and development
  • Monitor and record children's progress and development, and provide feedback to parents and families
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective team approach to childcare and education


Requirements:



  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with young children
  • Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
  • Excellent problem-solving and human relations skills, with a commitment to diversity and equity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility regarding assigned working hours, with ability to work split shifts and evenings
  • Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs, bend, and stoop, with ability to work outdoors for at least 2 hours daily
  • Excellent organizational and priority-setting skills, with ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, and Immunization


Above and Beyond:



  • Post-secondary education or teaching certification in Early Childhood Education
  • Leadership experience in childcare or education
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ambition to become a supervisor
  • Self-management of ongoing professional development
