Job Title: Marketing Finance Executive

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for finance and marketing? Do you have experience in financial planning and analysis? We are seeking a Marketing Finance Executive to join our team at TD SYNNEX.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting the management of marketing finance transactions and associated processes within the marketing team. This includes providing financial support to marketing managers, preparing financial plans, and processing vendor claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial support to marketing managers to ensure financial plans are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Assist marketing managers with the preparation of financial plans from a financial perspective.
  • Process vendor claims via vendor claim portals, ensuring all required proof of performance is present and consistent with vendor guidelines.
  • Purchase Order creation for external marketing service providers.
  • Investigation of specific financial transactions dealing with associated queries.
  • Checking cost and revenue postings in SAP to assist with clearing down aged transactions.
  • Communicating process updates across the marketing team.
  • Liaise with an internal shared service marketing finance team located in Barcelona.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a financial/commercial environment.
  • Relevant financial experience is sought, financial qualification/education is optional.
  • Must understand the application of accruals and deferrals in relation to the management of the profit and loss and balance sheet accounts.
  • Exposure to monthly/quarterly financial reporting and associated review processes.
  • Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking and pressured environment.
  • Able to work under own initiative and with colleagues located in multiple locations.
  • Able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
  • Able to evaluate and make recommendations to enhance the teams operational efficiency.
  • Able to interact openly and directly with others.
  • Able to manage interactions with vendors, suppliers, and internal customers.
  • Possess a high degree of numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience of working in an IT distribution environment, or Marketing Agency or similar would be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ideally SAP.
