About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Director to join our team at Irp Systems, a leading developer of high-performance e-powertrain systems for the electric vehicles market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the company's overall quality strategy and ensure the maintenance of a high-quality brand reputation.
  • Manage supplier quality and Material Review Board (MRB) activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead customer complaint resolution and maintain customer satisfaction through effective issue management.
  • Optimize product yield and quality throughout the production cycle.
  • Develop and implement quality systems, procedures, and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead external and internal auditing activities to ensure quality system effectiveness.
  • Manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities and strive for timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Lead product development activities from the research and development stage, ensuring quality and innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and execute tests to ensure incoming material and product quality.
  • Define and implement Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA), Special Cause Analysis Report (SCAR), and 8D processes.
Requirements
  • At least 10+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a multidisciplinary and automotive industry.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree, BS/MS in QA, Engineering, or related subjects.
  • Interdisciplinary engineering skills – electronics, mechanics, and software.
  • Experience in ISO-13485 with R&D group/IATF-16949 Automotive standard.
  • Lead auditor ISO-9001 certification and AS-9100.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong background in problem-solving and leading KAIZEN events.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive Work Instructions and Procedures.
  • Good knowledge of IPC-610, J STD-001, and other IPC standards related to PCB and PCBA.
  • Good knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process control, Cp/Cpk, GR&R, and DOE technique.
  • Good knowledge of process validation and Automotive PPAP requirements.
  • YIELD and other KPIs analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer, and supplier facing.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Proficient in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CQE certification – GREEN/BLACK Belt.
