Job Title
Inside Sales Representative - DACH Territory
Summary
As a key member of our Inside Sales team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth through digital sales and automating sales processes and methodologies for the DACH region. Your primary goal will be to identify and capture new business opportunities within this territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze local market specifics and identify new business opportunities within the DACH territory.
- Validate leads from established sources and convert them into opportunities.
- Promote and sell products, services, and solutions through direct contacts, virtual events, and webinars.
- Deliver engaging business or product presentations using virtual selling tools.
- Identify customer-specific needs and present proposals to guide customers through the implementation process.
- Create new accounts and log contact details of potential customers.
- Prepare business cases and ensure deal profitability targets are met.
- Ensure customers are fully operational post-acquisition.
- Manage and negotiate deals using digital communication channels.
- Participate in the sales process, handle leads, and report on campaign progress.
Contribution to Sales and Marketing Plan
- Support the delivery of the marketing plan by analyzing webinar outcomes and following up with attendees.
- Participate in the preparation of the quarterly sales plan and identify target customer and prospect groups.
- Establish and develop relationships with key decision-makers using virtual selling tools.
- Coordinate and participate in RFP/RFI responses and follow-up.
Sales Pipeline Reporting and Analysis
- Report on sales pipeline and campaign progress to the Inside Sales Head.
- Ensure correct customer approach rate and monitor sales pipeline velocity.
Team Participation
- Support new Inside Sales members in their induction process.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and be an active member of the Inside Sales global community.
- Take on the responsibility of being a product or solution champion for a given market/customer group.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of sales experience in an IT environment using digital tools.
- Understanding of and/or prior experience with the travel industry and travel agency environment desirable.
- Fluency in German and English required, excellent verbal and written skills.
