To strengthen our Finance controlling team, we are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner. If you are passionate about finance and eager to learn, you might be the ideal candidate for this role.

Job Description:

As a business controller, you will serve as the company's go-to person for all matters related to finance. You will play a critical role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis. Your responsibility will include supporting key management decisions, translating business topics into short-term and long-term financials, and challenging them.

The regular contact with the global accounting and billing teams, other controllers, and especially the intensive interaction with the business managers is absolutely key to be successful in this role. We offer you a very dynamic working environment, while taking up different challenges, with a good balance between strategic view, routine operations, and ad hoc analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Being the finance SPOC for the international business department by translating strategic decisions in financials and steering in the right direction by managing risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare a variety of financial analyses and presentations independently, providing information to executive Management.
  • Understand the business model and international market to be able to challenge the business where needed.
  • Owner of the budget, forecast, and long-term planning of your scope.
  • Story-building of actuals and challenge the financials, in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as analyzing historical trends.
  • Interact with global accounting, billing teams, and other country controllers.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis e.g. business cases to support management with financial decisions.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a Master degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance, or similar. A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience within finance, controlling experience is a must. You should be pro-active, have a critical mindset, and a hands-on attitude. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, ability to plan effectively, and feel comfortable to take critical decisions are also required.

Affinity with both business and finance with a healthy business acumen is necessary. You should have strong analytical and numerical skills. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Experienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of SAP4Hana and Power BI is a plus.
