About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to join Cero Generation's team. As the Head of Engineering, you will lead our Engineering and Technical team, overseeing all technical aspects across our project portfolio. You will support our Project and Corporate Development, Delivery, Construction, and Operation Departments throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including Owner's Engineers, Technical Advisors, Consultants, and EPC Partners.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Provide strategic direction to the Cero Generation Engineering team, fostering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all stages of the project lifecycle, from origination to development, procurement, and operation.

Technical Oversight

• Lead technical due diligence processes for acquisition or divestment of projects and financial close processes, interacting with external technical advisors, sellers, or buyers.

Procurement and Contract Management

• Oversee the technical facet during the procurement phase, collaborating with the Cero Generation Procurement Manager to define technical specifications for EPC and HV contractors and key suppliers.

Front End Engineering Design (FEED)

• Lead FEED when required in projects ahead of Financial Close, including site studies (topographic report, geotechnical surveys, hydrological studies).

Construction and Operations

• Oversee all technical aspects during construction, collaborating with the Cero Generation Project Manager during pre-construction and construction phases, supervising EPC contractor and suppliers' documentation and detailed designs.

Field Engineering and Support

• Provide technical support to the Asset Management team during the operational phase of the projects.
